Dry Storage Insert for Utopia/Kichly Cereal Box

For use with cereal containers sold as Utopia on Amazon, Kichly on Amazon AU and possibly others.

Utopia supply two slightly different styles of the containers. Choose the print profile for the style of container you have:

This insert raises the spool up above the desiccant and also reduces pinching of the spool by the sides of the box. I pour in 50g of silica gel beads using my desiccant measuring cup which quickly brings down the humidity in the container.

The design intentionally does not have a lid to contain the desiccant. The cereal container already contains the desiccant very well and avoiding a lid maintains great airflow. I find I tend to spill most beads when fitting lids to desiccant containers. 

I have successfully fit-tested round hygrometers with vertical locking tabs (like Bambu sell) as well as angled locking tabs. Your mileage may vary. The profiles also have a second plate with a mount for the common rectangular hygrometers. 

Tips:

• The hygrometer holder piece only goes one way around. The side where the bottom pegs are flush with the face is the front.
