COMAC C919 Exploratory Edition Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China C919 Exploration Edition
Print Profile(3)

Description
This is the exploratory edition, a different version of my previous plain white COMAC C919 model. Most of its interiors are recreated, such as business class seats, economy class seats, restrooms, and the cargo hold. I referenced many online resources when designing the model. Modifications were made to make the model printable. The model parts are based on COMAC's test flight prototype livery. Feel free to add model decals, such as aircraft model numbers and the COMAC logo, to make it more detailed. Glue and multicolor printers are required for the best effect.

I have uploaded three print profiles:
Fully Colored: All parts are colored. This offers the best effect.
Partially Colored: All parts are colored except for the wings and engines (the main white parts). This version prints faster and uses less filament, while the main fuselage remains colored.
No AMS: The fuselage, wings, and engines are not colored. This version is suitable for users without an AMS or those who want to save filament and printing time. To make the fuselage less boring, you can apply the China Eastern Airlines livery provided in my plain white C919 model.
Feel free to scale up the model to bring out more details. In all three print profiles, the aircraft scale is 120%, and the stand is 100%.
The cabin floor and seat colors can be set to your liking.
The last plate provides several luggage pieces of different sizes, which can be printed and placed inside the cargo hold. You can print several of these plates using different colors to make the cargo hold more vibrant.
To make the winglets curved, heat them using a lighter to soften them and gently bend them upward.
If you want the winglets to curve upward, heat them with a lighter to soften them, then gently bend them up.
Please refer to the painting guide of my previous C919 model for the colors of the remaining details.
I was lucky enough to photograph a C919 from the sky shortly after it took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) earlier this month.
