Description

Assembly steps with USB LED

I developed this project so as not to use glue or any other chemical product, but only pieces with fittings.

It can be produced in all available filaments.

In this print, I used PLA speed filament with a simple printing process using the standard 0.2 mm slicer.

The power input is the printer's own USB which is available behind the panel with 5v 1a power.

I used a 5v USB LED strip (I recommend a lighter, softer LED)

Attention, Fasteners can be printed in translucent PTG to maintain the LED's clarity (I recommend it)
If PETG is not available, glue can also be used.

Below is the assembly.

After placing the fasteners, we will place the let tape and the usb cable protectors

I chose to place several printed translucent PETG fasteners already configured in the project with a larger dimension for pressure fitting spaced out so as not to cover the LEDs.

After placing all the fasteners, this will be the final product.

Plug it into an external USB drive for testing and it should look like this depending on the configuration of the LED used.

After testing and checking that the fasteners are securely attached, you should remove the USB cable that is hidden behind the main panel of your printer in this exact location.

After plugging in the USB, accommodate the cable and start using it, placing the glass cover on top.
Attention, be sure to check that everything is correctly fitted so that there are no unwanted surprises.

THIS WAS THE FINAL RESULT ON MY PRINTER MINIMALIST DESIGN, FUNCTIONAL AND RESISTANT
