Paintbrush/Pencil Travel Tube

This is something I always thought should already exist, but I've never been able to find anywhere. So I finally got around to making it myself.

The idea is really simple: I wanted a travel container for my brushes that doubled as a paint brush cup. I needed this for oil paint brushes, which have long handles and can be difficult to find container for. But while I was at it, I figured I'd make additional sizes for standard handle brushes, pencils and pens.

The lid twists off and fits over the bottom, providing a sturdy base that you can set down and use directly as a brush cup. As a bonus, this keeps the lid out of the way and prevents it from getting lost. To avoid damaging the brush bristles, make sure to gather the bristles together when closing the tube. There are ventilation holes in the tops of the brush variants, allowing for storage of wet brushes.

These are a really easy print. No supports required. Infill and perimeters are largely irrelevant. Just print, pull them off, and go.

I printed most of mine in Silk PLA which is somewhat impractical - silk PLA isn't as strong and I'm just going to get paint on them. But I couldn't help myself. They look really great. And they seem really sturdy.
