Description

This is a Fine Grind Setting Dial for Eureka Mignon MCI

There are some for newer models but not for MCI, so i decided to do one for MCI which I Own.

Gear Ratio is ⅓ so with 33 on Knob and 99 on Main Gear, dial scale is divided to 160.

Cause i do not use the hopper screw to mount the hoper, the depth of the screw is adjusted to only hold the base.

Remove the original knob by going to coarse side.

First install the base, use the hopper screw to fix it in place, then install the knob and go to fine side when you feel a strong force, then get it back to coarse side up to two main grind gears not touching each other anymore but nearly very close to touch each other. Make this by turning the center screw of the gears by hand and feel it. On that point install the main gear as the 0 point will be facing the front. Then install the cover and screw it. Use 2 of Flat Head Cap M3 x 10mm Screws.

Put your hopper and you are ready to go :)

I Painted the setting lines, numbers and letter by sprey acrilic paint. You can use the masks to paint them and then remove excess paint on the surface with thinner.

Model is optimized for 0.27mm First layer and 0.15mm Layer thickness.
