Hygrometer Holder for IKEA SAMLA 22L Spool Holder by ThomaS 

Small but quite useful add-on for the filament spool holder by ThomaS in the IKEA SAMLA 22L: a holder for mini LCD thermometer/hygrometer, so you don't have to guess in the dry box, but *know* how dry it really is. 😉

Assembly is very simple: briefly lift the spool holder frame slightly, place the holder on top, done. It sits directly on the frame – no screws, no tape, no drama.

Since some of my SAMLA boxes are placed lengthwise in a KALLAX shelf , the position is deliberately designed for the front right corner: easy to read, quickly accessible, and no loss of space for the spools.

Compatibility / Dimensions

• Add-on for the spool holder “IKEA SAMLA 22L” by ThomaS
• Suitable for common mini LCD thermometers/hygrometers with approx 48 × 29 × 15 mm
• Backside open → readings remain clear + battery change without removal

I tested the holder with these two mini sensors (Big-A standard goods) – they fit me perfectly:
