Activity dice / Freely configurable / Free text

I have designed a dice that can be freely customised with click-in caps.

No glue is needed and the caps can be removed and replaced at any time with a fingernail or a knife.

The idea is that you can freely design a dice for all possible situations in life that can take decisions off your hands.

Examples:

A dice with your favorite…

… food (see icons)

… indoor/outdoor activitys (see icons)
… film genres
… board games

… restaurants / bars

or with all familiy members.

etc... there are countless possibilities

The dice has the outer dimensions 45x45x45mm.

Print settings:

Support is required for the base body.
The unsightly connection is covered by the caps.

The caps are printed without support.

I used PLA+ for the caps. Standard PLA may be too soft for the click connection. In this case, glue might be necessary.

IMPORTANT: The caps must be turned in Bambu Studio (visible surface facing the print bed).

They are only arranged with the visible surface upwards for a better overview.

Instructions for the free text:

Step 1: Right-click on the "Free edit" cap (not on the text) and click "Center":

Step 2: Next, click on the text and then click on the 'Text shape' button:

Step 3: Write your personal text. Embed depth must remain at 1mm. The font size should not be too small.

Step 4: Right-click on the text and click centre (after each text customisation). Now the cap and the text are perfectly aligned. You can move both elements away, copy the cap and start again from step 1 for more caps.
