Customizable Heart Headband – Add Any Text

This customizable heart headband prints fast, uses very little filament, and can be adapted for birthdays, parties, fan events, school activities, family gifts, or simply to honor someone special. 

Add your own text, choose your colors, and create a personal accessory in about 40 minutes.

Printing Instructions

For the best result, I strongly recommend using the provided print profiles. They are already prepared for the correct color setup, wall structure, and surface finish.

If you prefer to create your own profile, use these settings:

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Wall generator: Arachne
• Walls: minimum 2 walls with Alternate Extra Wall enabled, or simply use 3 walls
• Top shell layers: 4
• Bottom shell layers: 4
• Interface Shells: enabled
• Supports: not required

These settings create a nearly solid, clean, and well-finished headband while keeping the print fast and lightweight.

Both AMS and no-AMS versions are included. The no-AMS version uses mid-print filament changes, which is faster and wastes less material, but it will create a visible color band around the headband at the color-change height.

For manual color changes, start with red filament, change to white at 1.2 mm, then change back to red at 2.2 mm — or keep the rest of the print white if you prefer that look.

Customization

You can customize this model in a few simple ways.

The easiest option is to open one of the included editable example profiles and replace the existing text with your own message.

If you prefer to start from the blank version, simply add your own text inside the empty heart area.

You can also import an SVG file to add a custom logo, icon, symbol, team artwork, school emblem, party graphic, or any more detailed design.

For best results with text, use bold, rounded fonts and keep the text raised with 1.00 mm thickness.

To align the text with the heart angle, set the text angle to -15°, as shown in the reference image below.

Recommended text settings:

• Thickness: 1.00 mm
• Embedded depth: 0.00 mm
• Text gap: 0.00 mm
• Angle: -15°

Short words, bold fonts, and simple SVG shapes work best. Keep the message or artwork centered inside the heart and avoid very thin lines or tiny details for a cleaner print.
