Description

Create custom stamps for any occasion!

Whether you're designing personalized stamps for stationery, creating fun designs for crafts, or making professional stamps for your business, StampMaker offers the ultimate customization. With full control over text, icons, graphics, and stamp shapes, you can bring any idea to life.

🚀 Quick Start

It’s simple, fun, and flexible! Here’s how to get started:

  1. Design Your Stamp
Open the Customizer and choose from text, icons (copy from Noto Emoji or emojipedia), combined text and icon, or your own SVG file. Adjust parameters like size, colors, font styles, and edge treatments to create the perfect design.
  2. Export Your Model
Once your design is ready, export it as a 3MF or STL file and load it into Bambu Studio or your favorite slicer.
  3. Print and Play
Print your stamp, screw on the handle, and your stamp is ready to impress!

🖋️ Improving Impressions

Gently sanding the extruded areas of your stamp with sandpaper can not only smooth out imperfections but also create subtle grooves that help the ink adhere better. This simple step can significantly enhance the clarity and quality of the impressions your stamp leaves.

⭐ Features

Whilst building StampMaker, I found that MakerWorld already has a great OpenSCAD script for customizable stamps. On my mission to create the ultimate Maker scripts collection, I focus on ease of customization, flexibility, and performance. Here's how StampMaker differentiates itself from other scripts:

  • Multiple Content Options
Add text, icons, combined text + icon, or custom SVG graphics.
  • Auto-Resizing
Stamp dimensions automatically adjust to fit your content.
  • Customizable Base and Handle
Modify size, height, corner rounding, edge treatments and more.
  • Precise Adjustments
Fine-tune fonts, spacing, alignment, and extrusion depth.
  • User-Friendly
Simple for beginners, with advanced flexibility for experts.

🛠️ Changelog

v1.1
  • Added multiline text support. Use a comma (,) to create multiple lines of text.
  • Introduced the Line Height parameter for precise control over spacing between lines.
  • Added the Text Align parameter to align text to the left, center, or right.

v1.2
  • Added Stroke functionality to outline your design with a frame. Customize width, inset, and even dashed patterns for a unique look.
  • Removed scaling limit for SVG graphics – freely adjust size beyond the previous 0-2 range.

v1.3
  • Added Icon Fill parameter to make icons solid by removing interior holes.

v1.4 (NEW)
  • Added support for the new font selector UI.
  • Introduced customizable thread size for the stamp and handle. When enabled, the handle must be printed separately, as the default thread will no longer fit.

My coworkers and I had asked our boss to have stamp made (specific to the work we do) which would save time/our wrists from having to write it so often. It's been over a month and they haven't provided us with what we've asked for and lo and behold what shows up on my feed today! Excited to try them out tomorrow. <3

I have to admit I am a bit jealous. I worked 27 years as a stamp designer, and as a pro in the business the quality of 3D printed stamps is still far far from being what I am used to. But you made a start. If materials are more detailled I may think of using this technique. And it may lead my fellow papercraft ladies to 3D printing, what is a good thing.

Hi @uomobarba . At the moment, adding a line/stroke directly through the script isn’t supported. The example you shared was created using an SVG graphic with the stroke designed into the file. However, I’ve been thinking about adding an adjustable stroke feature to the script. Would this be something you (and others) would find useful? If there’s interest, I’d be happy to explore implementing it in a future update. I can't promise anything but I can give it a try. Let me know your thoughts.

@maxwelle @mrforeyes The feature is done (see attached image). It also introduces two new parameters called "Line Height" and "Text Align" to give you full control over text alignment and spacing. I will write the changelog and update StampMaker to v1.1 in just a moment.

I think we really need the custom handle option somehow 😅 My stamp is too big for the default one so it lasted only once lol

Hi @alextc , yikes! I've added this feature request to the update list — it’s a fairly easy change, but I’ll need to update the documentation since the default stamp handle won’t work with a larger threaded rod. In the meantime, you could try increasing the infill for added strength. Stay tuned

I've just noticed the real effort you put into this community with genuinely good tools and ideas. I haven't printed anything of yours yet but I do have need of creating a custom fitting (m8/1.2mm thread-a male adapter for rubber tubing to go onto) my cad skills are still low but your bolt customization tool looked a bit like what I needed.
