Description

Purpose

This parametric jig is designed to identify the exact 3D-printed hole diameter required for a specific mechanical clearance. Unlike a "blind" hole test, these cylinders go entirely through the block, allowing you to verify that your target object (such as a Winston-Lutz BB or alignment peg) passes through with the desired amount of friction or freedom.

How to Use

  1. Set Your Range: Use the MakerWorld Customizer to set your cylinder_start_diameter and the step_size (e.g., $0.1\text{mm}$ increments).
  2. Verify Through-Fit: Once printed, slide your target object through the holes until you find the one that meets your clinical or mechanical requirements.
  3. Read the Label: Each hole is accompanied by a vertically debossed label on the side of the block for easy identification.
