Printing Instructions
This is a compact, precision print-in-place mechanism — proper extrusion (flow ratio) is key for best results.
PLA or PETG is recommended. Other materials may work, but performance can vary.
No supports required.
Default settings work well.
Choosing the Right Profile (Recommended)
Start with the Standard profile.
If needed:
- Too tight (hard to open / stuck) → use Loose Fit profile
- Too loose (weak latch / low resistance) → use Tight Fit profile
These profiles already adjust extrusion (flow ratio) to compensate for filament variation.
Fine Tuning (Optional)
This is a small precision part — extrusion accuracy directly affects the latch behavior.
If you prefer manual tuning:
- Too tight → slightly reduce Flow Ratio
- Too loose → slightly increase Flow Ratio
Adjust in small steps (±0.05) and reprint if needed.
Each filament behaves differently — even the same spool over time.
A visual guide is included in the image gallery.
👉 This model can also be used as a quick real-world flow calibration test.
First Use
The latch may feel firm on the first open.
Open and close it a few times — it will settle into a smooth and consistent motion.

Description
This Adventure Cases Edition brings Jake, Finn, and BMO together in a collection of print-in-place toothbrush cases designed to make an everyday essential far more fun, expressive, and collectible. Inspired by the iconic world of Adventure Time, each version captures the character's instantly recognizable personality while remaining fully functional for daily use.
Fully print-in-place, the cases come off the printer ready to use with no assembly required. The integrated latch keeps the case securely closed during transport, while the built-in ventilation openings help moisture escape and allow the toothbrush to dry properly after use. Whether used for travel, school, work, camping, gym bags, backpacks, or bathroom organization, the design balances practicality with character-driven appeal.
Each case prints in approximately 1 hour using only around 15g of material, making it a fast, economical, and beginner-friendly project. The multicolor details are intentionally concentrated in the first layers, dramatically reducing AMS purge waste compared to traditional multicolor decorative prints while preserving the distinctive appearance of each character.
Designed in two sizes for both kids and adults, the cases accommodate a wide variety of toothbrushes while maintaining a compact and portable form factor. They help protect toothbrushes during transport, keeping them clean, organized, and ready for everyday use without adding unnecessary bulk.
The latch mechanism was carefully refined to provide smooth operation, reliable retention, and satisfying mechanical feedback. The geometry was optimized for durability, print reliability, and consistent performance across different printers and materials, while remaining completely support-free and requiring virtually no post-processing.
Unlike many decorative character-based prints that prioritize appearance over usability, Adventure Cases was designed from the beginning as a genuinely functional product. The characters are integrated directly into the design language of the case, creating an object that works equally well as a practical travel accessory and a fun collectible display piece.
Each character brings a unique visual identity to the collection. Jake offers a bold and playful appearance with his iconic yellow face, Finn provides a clean and minimalist look with simple graphic features, while BMO adds a retro-tech aesthetic that feels perfectly at home alongside modern gadgets and desk accessories. Together they create a cohesive collection that looks great both individually and as a complete set.
The simple graphic style works especially well with textured build plates, matte filaments, and multicolor printing techniques. The clean shapes remain highly recognizable even at small scale, resulting in fast prints that maintain strong visual impact while staying efficient and easy to manufacture.
This 3D printable toothbrush case functions as a portable toothbrush holder, travel toothbrush case, toothbrush cap, hygienic bathroom accessory, travel organizer, EDC travel item, and compact storage solution for everyday carry. The ventilated structure helps reduce trapped moisture while protecting the toothbrush during transportation.
Perfect for makers who enjoy functional prints, print-in-place mechanisms, travel accessories, multicolor printing, compact storage solutions, collectible designs, cartoon-inspired creations, and practical everyday objects with personality. Suitable for kids, adults, travelers, Adventure Time fans, collectors, students, and anyone looking to add a little fun to their daily routine.
A unique combination of portability, low material usage, fast printing, satisfying mechanics, collectible character design, and real-world functionality — turning a simple toothbrush case into something you'll actually want to carry every day.
