40x60mm Protoboard Project Case
Print Profile(1)

Description
A compact two-part enclosure designed for standard 40x60mm prototyping boards. Originally built for a garage door opener project, but the form factor works for any small protoboard build — ESP boards, relay modules, sensor hubs, NFC readers, you name it.
Features
- Snap-in protoboard mounting — no screws or standoffs needed to secure the board
- Ventilation slots on the body to help dissipate heat from regulators, relays, or anything that runs warm
- Internal height clears vertically-seated Dupont connectors, so you can keep your jumper wiring clean without having to lay headers flat
- Two-piece design: main body + lid for easy access during development and debugging
Print notes
- 0.2mm layer height works well; 0.16mm if you want crisper vent slots
- PLA or PETG both fine — PETG if your electronics run warm
- Designed and sliced in Bambu Studio (3MF included)
What you'll need to assemble
- One 40x60mm protoboard
- Your project's components
Print, snap the board in, drop the lid on, done.
