Description
A filament clip designed specifically for SUNLU 3rd generation filament spools, compatible with the AMS, AMS 2 Pro, and AMS HT.
- Ambidextrous design – unlike most filament clips, this one works on both the left and right side of the spool without touching the AMS
- Built-in support structure – an integrated support keeps the clip in shape during printing and can be easily snapped off afterwards with no tools required
- Tight tolerances – carefully engineered to ensure the clip stays securely in place without falling out
Print Recommendations:
- Material: PETG is strongly recommended for its flexibility and heat resistance up to 70 °C, making it safe to dry alongside your filament
- Build plate: Use a clean plate with good adhesion. A Bambu Lab Supertack plate was used for this print
- Calibration: Due to the tight tolerances, make sure your printer and filament are well-calibrated before printing. Poor calibration may result in a clip that is too loose or too tight
Installation:
- Snap off the built-in support structure
- Place the clip over the spool hole
- Use a flat object (e.g. a piece of wood) to press the clip firmly into the spool holes until it seats securely
