Description

Another Reusable Spool for bambu filament refills, there are many designs out there and I have tried few of them, but there was always something I did not like about it. So I made my own version and maybe someone else will find it useful.

Features:

Filament slots/clip integrated in spool, so no need for filament clips and end of filament does not stick out of the spool. There are 6 slots on each side and angled in a way so opposite sides does not line up so there will be always a slot available.

Spool is pretty sturdy and looks good also.

Locking Shim included, to prevent spool from accidentally opening. I personally never used one, but that is up to you to decide.

Printed fine in PETG Translucent. Best feature is the integrated filament holes tucked in the frame as they’ll never cause a feed malfunction as attached clips have. Only negative is the spool has more flex and isn’t as solid feeling as I’d like but that still doesn’t hurt its functionality.

Printed great and works well, very convenient to have the built in filament holder. I used some leftover white and green filament when printing the first half and I configured them both as white so the AMS would auto switch and the result turned out nice, so on the other half I painted the layers green in bambu studio (painted layers 7 - 14 ) so the result would be symmetric :)
