Description

This is intended to restore the sunroof interior panel (the one with the sunroof switch, near the dome light) of an E36 BMW (1992-1998 3 series, mine is a 1998 328i sedan) to it's original function and allow it to stay in place and be removed at will.  For me, the sunroof panel just fell out one day, and 90% of the clips were broken.  You will need to take an exacto or razor, flatten out the spot where the clip used to be (sandpaper might help), and make an acetone / ASA (or ABS) slurry, apply it to the bottom of the clip and to where the clip will go, and press the clips in place.  Be sure to line it up to the original position.  For me, this worked so well I was shocked.  I hope someone else can also find this useful.
Note that this took me several attempts to get a good print.  It must be printed horizontal, and it must get ample time between layers so that it has time to dry.  Printing more at once will help, hopefully all of the settings I had carried over and you can just hit print.  I printed this with Overture ASA.
