Overview
A clean, minimalist 5.25" Drive Bay Cover Panel designed to replace missing or broken blanking plates. This model features a sleek, textured front face (when printed on a textured PEI plate) that blends seamlessly with modern PC cases.
Perfect for cable management or simply tidying up the front of your chassis if you've removed an old optical drive.

Key Design Features
- Active Locking Mechanism: Integrated side tabs provide a satisfying "click" once seated, ensuring the panel won't vibrate or fall inward.
- Easy Removal: The tabs are designed with enough flex to be bent inward, allowing you to pop the panel back out from the front without having to open your PC case.
- Low Profile: Minimalist design that sits flush with the front of your chassis for a factory-original look.
Installation & Use
- To Install: Line the panel up with the empty 5.25" slot and push straight back. You will hear the tabs lock into the chassis frame.
- To Remove: Simply press the exposed tabs inward and pull the panel toward you. No tools or case disassembly required!
Print Settings & Recommendations
- Printer: Optimized for Bambu Lab P series and X1 series.
- Plate: I highly recommend using a Textured PEI Plate facedown. This gives the front of the panel a professional, "factory" matte look that matches most PC case plastics.
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS/ASA (if your PC case gets particularly warm).
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended for strength).
- Supports: Only required for the side clips/tabs depending on your orientation.
Installation
Simply align the panel with the open 5.25" bay and press firmly until the side tabs click into place.

I am currently gauging interest for a Version 2.0 of this design! If this model reaches 250 downloads or 50 likes, I will release a "High-Airflow" version featuring a custom honeycomb mesh intake.
