Description
Kumiko TV Box Cover – Hide Your Set-Top Box
Modern living rooms often end up filled with small electronic devices, cables and blinking lights that create unnecessary visual clutter. This Kumiko-style enclosure is designed to elegantly hide a TV receiver or set-top box while keeping your setup functional and accessible.
Inspired by traditional Japanese Kumiko woodworking, the enclosure features a detailed Asanoha lattice pattern that allows airflow and infrared signals to pass through while concealing the device inside. The result is a decorative object that blends into your furniture instead of looking like another piece of electronics.
Perfect for anyone who wants to reduce visual noise in their living room and keep their entertainment area clean and minimalist.

Design Notes
The base box was generated using the MakerWorld Parametric Box Generator, which provided a quick and precise starting point for the enclosure.
From there, the Kumiko-style patterned panels and other modifications were designed to create a decorative cover specifically intended to hide TV receivers while maintaining ventilation and remote control functionality.
Why I made this
I designed this enclosure to hide the TV receiver in my own living room and reduce the visual clutter around the TV area.
If you adapt the design for another receiver or media device, feel free to share your version!
