Rivian Crossbar Inserts with Thule SnowPack L Rack

This model is a custom T-slot insert, designed for the Rivian OEM crossbars and the Thule SnowPack L ski/snowboard rack, to eliminate the annoying whistle. These are designed to be printed in ASA or TPU for AMS, and go under the Thule rack for a custom fit. 

NOTE: These are designed for the Thule Rack to be opened on the driver side of the vehicle with the crossbars in the middle and rear position. You can install on the passenger side by reversing the install pieces. Refer to the install instructions for more detail. 

Printing in TPU for AMS will result in a slightly more flexible and less secure install. This model is optimized for ASA.

INSTALL:

The first plate are 4 standard pieces with no cutouts for the Thule Base plates. These are fillers for the remainder of the T-slot, which will slide in with one of the following pieces cut specifically for the Thule Rack.

The second plate consists of the following pieces that are embossed as follows on the underside of the print:

“DS” - These 2 pieces are the same, and insert in the driver most side of the rack. The cutout goes under the Thule base plate closest to the driver side of the car. The T-bolt slides into the open slot as pictured in the photos as you slide it into position.

“PM” - Goes under the passenger side base plate of the middle position crossbar.

“PR” - Goes under the passenger side base plate of the rear position crossbar.
