Overview

This is a high-strength, functional floor drain cover designed to connect a 40mm (OD) hose or pipe to a standard 150mm floor drain. It features a structural honeycomb mesh that ensures rapid water drainage while preventing debris from entering the drain.

Originally designed for a Jafo floor drain, this model is an ideal solution for utility rooms, kitchens, or any area where a secure, low-profile 90-degree connection for a 40mm waste pipe is required.

Two Mounting Options Included

This project includes two versions of the 40mm connector to suit your preference:

• Screw-on Version: The connector is secured to the grate using two 4x8mm self-tapping screws for maximum stability.
• Snap-fit Version: A convenient press-fit design that clicks directly into the honeycomb grate without the need for extra hardware.

Technical Specifications

• Drain Compatibility: Designed for standard 150mm drains. (Actual diameter is 148.5mm to ensure a smooth fit in common drains like Jafo, Purus, and Blücher).
• Pipe Compatibility: Features a 90-degree elbow with a 40mm Inner Diameter (ID), designed to fit hoses or pipes with a 40mm Outer Diameter (OD).
• Low Profile: The integrated 90-degree bend allows for a compact installation, keeping the hose/pipe organized and close to the floor.

Print Settings & Recommendations

• Material: PETG or ASA recommended for water and chemical resistance.
• Wall Count: Set to 4–6 walls (or enough to print the connector solid for a watertight result).
• Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.16mm. Use Adaptive Layer Height on the elbow section for smoother overhangs.
• Supports: Minimal supports are recommended for the 90-degree elbow.
