Description

This universal elastic mounting clamp was inspired by the fantastic QuickFist clamps. It is by far not as sturdy and rigid as the original, thus it is not suitable for heavier things, especially when used in a vehicle. Anyhow, it works fine for light items like smaller flashlights/torches, fishing rods  and many other things.

DO NOT USE IT FOR SPADES, SHOVELS, AXES OR AMY OTHER HEAVY OR DANGEROUS ITEMS!
USE THIS MOUNTING CLAMP AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I used TPU 95A with 0.2mm layers and printed the clamp with 2 walls/10% infill, the strap with 5 walls (which in result gives 100% infill). These settings gave enough elasticity as well as enough rigidity. You might want to experiment with the infill of the clamp to accommodate your needs. The original design works fine for items up to max 25mm diameter, but you can easily scale the parts to get larger/smaller versions. Anyhow, I wouldn't recommend scaling to lower than half the size or over double the size.
