The MAXi Train series ventures into the heart of Russia with Moscow Legacy, a miniature tribute to the nation’s enduring history, monumental architecture, and solemn winter atmosphere. Dominating the scene, the vibrant domes of Saint Basil’s Cathedral rise in bold contrast against the snowy landscape, their iconic shapes and colors symbolizing Moscow’s spiritual depth and unmistakable identity. Nearby, the grand façade of the Bolshoï Theatre stands with quiet authority, reflecting Russia’s cultural heritage and its long-standing devotion to art, music, and performance. Completing this architectural ensemble, the imposing Spasskaya Tower rises above the scene, its clock tower evoking the rhythm of time and the historical heart of the Kremlin. Together, these landmarks form a powerful narrative of tradition, resilience, and national pride, anchored within a vast snow-covered plain.Scattered across the landscape, snow-laden fir trees punctuate the terrain, reinforcing the calm, wintry atmosphere of the Russian countryside. At the center of the scene, the Russian flag stands proudly, its colors emerging from the white surroundings as a symbol of unity, history, and identity. Bringing motion and continuity to the diorama, a classic Russian train winds its way through the snowy environment, passing beneath landmarks and across open terrain. Its steady movement connects each element of the scene, echoing the role of railways in shaping Russia’s vast geography and shared history. The train’s journey transforms the frozen landscape into a living tableau, where past and present travel side by side. As with every MAXi Train creation, Moscow Legacy blends architecture, storytelling, and mechanical motion into a compact collectible. Designed with clean lines and simplified forms for miniature 3D printing, it captures the solemn beauty and historic weight of Moscow — a city defined by endurance, memory, and the quiet power of time moving forward.

This new design is based on the Mini Train Collection of BamBam Design (https://linktr.ee/bambamdesign). This model is 2.5X bigger than usual BamBam Design Mini Train Collection. You are free to adapt the scale if you want to make it compatible with other designs. In this case, be aware that some piece might be very small and also make sure to also apply the same ratio for magnets. Apply a 40% or 0.4 ratio to be compatible with BamBam Design Mini Train Collection.

Assembly:

Needed :

• 6x Round Magnet 10x5mm

Steps:

1. Insert 3pcs magnets (10x5mm) in the trains (Russian Train).
2. Insert 3pcs magnets (10x5mm) in the wheel’s pin. These magnets must attract the trains (Russian Train).
3. Add the wheel’s pin onto the wheel, fix the wheel to the base by pressing gently. Wheel’s pin must follow the designated path. You can use the trains or some spare magnets to prevent the wheel’s pin movements of the path while doing so.
4. Fix the terrain to the base by using trees dedicated. You can add a bit of glue to combine.
5. Fix others elements such as monuments and buildings. You can add a bit of glue to combine.
6. Turn the wheel and have fun!
