Description
I was looking for a space-saving and protective way to store my Carrera cars outside of their original display boxes. The primary focus of this project was functionality and versatility; this box is designed to accommodate a wide range of models.
Key Features & Design
- Height-Adjustable Lid: The cover can be adjusted to different heights to fit various car models.
- Guide Blade Slot: A dedicated cutout keeps the car securely in position.
- Tire Protection: The car is elevated by 2mm to ensure the wheels are off the ground, preventing flat spots and protecting the tires.
- Secure Locking: The lid features a snap-fit mechanism to prevent it from sliding off accidentally.
- Ergonomic Handling: The finger recess in the lid is thickened and rounded for a more comfortable grip.
- Stackable Design: The boxes are designed to be stacked securely.
- Reinforced Side Walls: The sides are stiffened to provide structural integrity and prevent shifting when stacked.
- Multi-Color Ready: The "Carrera" lettering is recessed by 0.4mm, allowing for easy and cost-effective multi-color printing
