Description

📦 Cover with ESP32 Mount for 64×64 LED Panel

This 3D-printable enclosure is designed to host a 64×64 RGB LED panel (approximately 192×192 mm format) together with an ESP32 board, the core of the control system. The goal is to provide a single structure that works both as a protective cover and as a mounting frame for the electronics, avoiding improvised brackets and exposed cables.

🔹 Design features

  • 📐 Compatible with HUB75 64×64 modules
  • 🧠 Dedicated housing for ESP32 with USB port access
  • 🧵 Designed for M3 threaded heat-set inserts
  • 🔩 Fastening system based on M3 screws of various lengths
  • 🛣 Internal channels for routing ribbon and power cables
  • 🖨 Optimized for FDM printing with no complex supports

The M3 threaded inserts allow the cover to be screwed and unscrewed multiple times without damaging the plastic, while the M3 screws (typically M3x8 mm, M3x10 mm, M3x12 mm, and M3x16 mm) are used to:

  • secure the LED panel to the frame,
  • lock the ESP32 mount in place,
  • join the enclosure bodies.
