Description

This is my custom start gcode for the A1, I used this Gcode from HIEUBG as the base of my project.

I've been using this gcode myself for the last month, so it's safe to use.

for AMS users:

I've had reports of the color not purged enough when starting a print with different color, I changed the purge amount to 30mm and it should now be fixed
The fix is now available to download.

Thanks @Sciccorz for testing.

UPDATE:

There is now a version that has the standard Bambu Load Line at the front of the bed.

How to install:

  1. Download the .3mf file for Bambu Studio, open it and you have the custom installed (you can check under the printer properties
  2. or download the Gcode as .txt from the “documentation” section and copy paste it as your start gcode

I can make a more in depth installation guide if you have problems installing, just write me message.

Features/changes:

  • nozzle goes to the front of build plate (and fully down) for final heatup to prevent oozing
  • reduced the amount of purge to 10 mm when preparing (to fill the nozzle but waste less filament)
  • a few temperature optimizations (when wiping at the back of the build plate, etc.)

Boost Me (for free)

If you like it, why not? ;) ... Oh yeah, and it also supports my work (and motivates me to upload more models)

I you liked the model feel free to leave a comment and a good rating

If there are any issues or you you have any suggestions just write me a message.

can you please add 5mm start line? Your code starts to print without filament =(

I can add a Load Line but, little 10mm extrusion at the purge wiper should fill the nozzle, at least if filament is loaded manually

I will probably publish it too bc maybe some one else would want the load line just curious did you use with or without AMS

I don't know why, but when using this Gcode in AMS, there is residual filament from the last print. The extrusion is not completely wiped clean

could be, because I didn't test it with an AMS and there could be bugs I didn't notice what exactly happened, I can maybe look into it

Hello the bug is that the filament is not completely washed during the first layer of AMS printing, it happened twice, and it does not happen when using the official Gcode

thx for the picture, I can look at the gcode, but I would guess that the problem is that I changed the extrude amount at the beginning to 10mm instead of 30mm(or idk what the standard is)

Do you also have exit Gcode?

thx for the Boost and no, I've not made end Gcode because unless you have a print farm you don't really need custom end gcode

I see ok. Would you use this gcode on every print or js the ones that don’t need precision?

Replying to @Sciccorz :
I've tested it on various prints including precise Parts, so I basically use it on every print.

Hi, I downloaded the Gcode for AMS. When changing the color from black to white, the cleaning volume is not enough. The standard cleaning volume is 50. If you have a cleaning tower, it will work with 40, but I returned the standard 50.

Thanks for the feedback, as I don't have AMS I couldn't test it myself. I will edit it to be the standard 50.

Hi, had you test the G-code with AMS? And if yes can i have a new start G-code from you again? Thank you so much

I don't have an AMS, but someone told me that it didn't flush the previous filament correctly. I think I found the problem so if you would be willing to test the new gcode for AMS it would be great

I test it on 5 ones A1, and the same - first 2-3cm of printing line are very thing and pure. I print one model 10 times a day, so great to have start code that just home + start line, nothing else;)

If you want even simpler, you can use this one: https://makerworld.com/models/1340905?appSharePlatform=copy I'm not the creator but it works great (doesn't activate filament runout, etc. tho, if you want those don't use it)
