Description

I am new to 3D printing and CAD, and have used these terrain tiles to build our maps for Jaws of the Lion: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1601644-gloomhaven-2nd-edition-terrain-mega-pack?from=search#profileId-1688312

(I have made some remixes that I will post when I have confirmed license requirements)

I wanted to be able to build the full terrain, since the books are lumpy and hard to see the edges for our middle-aged eyes. I tried modifying similar hex frames that just didn't quiet work, so I made these from scratch using OnShape. Each model has been testing when printed with a .2mm nozzle. I tried some with a .4 and it's “ok” but not as clean a fit.

The dovetail connectors are a very tight fit, so you need to really align them and push straight down. I would recommend printing a couple to see how you like the fit before printing a bunch. I might modify the dovetail to have a bit of an angle, but have now printed all I need and may move on to other projects.

At my husbands request, I made the bottom of the tiles different colors and added numbers to the double and triple frames to aid in identification at a glance.

For JoTL I printed:
~100 single frames
10 double frames

4 triple frames
