Filament rack with round rod (compact for A1 Mini)

Compact filament spool rack optimized to print 2 simultaneously on the A1 mini. Inexpensive and practical for storing filaments. Holds 1kg spools and refills.

Customization

The model is designed for use with a 20 mm wooden dowel, however, it can be adjusted in Bambu Studio.

Two-color printing without AMS

To achieve two-color printing on the A1 mini: Insert a pause at the 4th and 98th layers, change the color, and continue printing.

Assembly

Material

• 4x screws (Caution: countersunk screws can break the material)
• 4x washers
• 4x wall plugs suitable for wall and screw
• 1x 1m x 20mm wooden dowel (1 m holds approximately 10 kg of filament)

Construction

After printing, for a particularly secure fit of the washers, heat them and use the screws to melt them into the plastic in front of the holes.

Slide or tap the wooden dowel into the holder. To do this, place the holder on a stable surface (floor) and tap the wooden dowel in. Pay attention to alignment for the second one!

Screw the rack to the wall.
