At C59, we believe small details make a big difference.

(P2S - MINI - H) v1.1

  • Support-free plate assembly (link only).
Some components may require brim removal and light support cleanup depending on print settings.
  • Integrated PTFE Clip
  • Lok Tab prevents wires from escaping
  • Lok Clip also helps retain wires and can act as a spacer depending on the application (such as MINI heatbed setups)
  • PLA is not recommended

Perfect if you only want to replace a single link and add PTFE clip functionality.

(P2S - MINI - H) v1.2

Same as v1.1, with improvements:

  • Tighter fit
  • Improved radius-lock area
  • Better overall feel and durability

It requires more break-in time but is better suited for CoreXY systems and offers a more premium feel.

A v1.1 starter link is required for perfect compatibility with the factory P2S-H chain.

Pass-Link

Designed to let PTFE enter the chain path smoothly without catching on the frame or rubbing against the rear top glass when using upgraded toolheads such as XPTG 3.3.

  • Clip-less PTFE freedom
  • Smooth, worry-free movement

Glide-Link

A specially designed link that allows PTFE to glide smoothly inside the chain.

  • I also developed a self-supporting guide mount that does not rely on the pneumatic connector for G-Link / P-Link setups:

These links are based on v1.2, so they require one v1.1 starter link for compatibility.

Link Updates

The S and G links have been upgraded to v1.1, while the E link remains v1.0.

This revision adjusts lock positioning to eliminate a dead spot (see print profile image) that could damage wires over time from excessive bending.

  • Even with a riser and no toolhead guide, Glide-Links help prevent PTFE and clips from catching on the frame.

When properly set up with XPTG 3.3, there should be little to no frame contact.

Full Chain Builds

For full-chain builds, especially on CoreXY systems, v1.2 is recommended for the entire chain after the starting link.

Use v1.1 only as the starter link when mating to factory P2S-X2D-H hardware.

v1.1 vs v1.2

v1.1

  • Direct fit for P2S-H2 printers
  • Easier break-in
  • Compatible with original chain links

v1.2

  • Revised radius-lock system
  • Holds chain shape better over time
  • Tighter fit
  • Requires more manual break-in

The v1.1 stopper may wear faster over time, while v1.2 is designed for improved longevity.

Lubrication

v1.2 absolutely requires grease

  • Recommended: the gold grease from the printer toolkit
  • Running v1.2 dry is only practical for initial assembly and hand break-in.

Even v1.1 benefits from light lubrication, especially when printed in PETG to reduce noise.

Using v1.2 on P2S

Installation is simple on the toolhead side.

  • The only limitation is mating directly to the factory printer chain, as the stop angle differs slightly.

The solution:

  • Start with one v1.1 link, then continue with v1.2 links

This creates a perfect transition and fits together like bread and butter.

More Sizes Coming

Smart-Link is not just for 3D printers.

Additional sizes and larger application versions are coming soon.

Compatibility

Compatible with:

  • P2S printers
  • Universal applications
  • Additional O.E. compatibility coming soon

The v1.1 link is designed for support-free printing and works with original P2S links.

When pairing with an original factory link, light filing of the printed hole may occasionally be needed.

Smart-Link to Smart-Link connections should require no filing
(Test verified across 50+ prints using Sunlu PETG Ludicrous)

This design balances:

  • O.E. compatibility
  • Universal adaptability
  • Support-free printability

Installation

(Instructions will expand as new releases become available.)

For P2S, recommended setup:

  • Add 1 Lok Tab every 2 links
  • Place PTFE clips similarly to the factory layout

Note:
Lok Tabs can be tight depending on print tolerance. Pliers may help engage the first locking ridge.

More information will follow.

Feel free to ask if something is not documented yet.
