Project V-Rebirth Core Frame
Overview
Project V-Rebirth is a highly articulated 1/12 mechanical frame designed as a fresh new beginning after the Dummy 13 series
It features a modular internal structure, serving as the foundation for future armor and weapon expansions—
allowing creators to explore, modify, and build their own mechanical universe
Project V-Rebirth is a highly articulated frame I designed for 1/12 scale mechanical figures
It symbolizes a new beginning and is my brand new conceptual art project after Dummy 13
The frame features a modular structure, serving as the foundational framework for future external armor and weapon systems
allowing creators to freely expand, use their imagination, and build their own mechanical characters
Description
Designed with an industrial sci-fi aesthetic, this frame consists of around 100 parts—
delivering the joy of mechanical assembly
Its joints are engineered with a custom interlocking mechanism, tested repeatedly to ensure flexibility and durability,
minimizing the risk of breakage or looseness over time
This frame features an industrial retro plus sci-fi structure as its core aesthetic
It has about 100 independent parts, offering the joy of model assembly during the process
The joints adopt a special mechanical interlocking design, combining the principle of physical detents
tested repeatedly to ensure good articulation and effectively avoid breakage and looseness issues
Material & Printing Tips
This model is optimized for 3D printing without supports, thanks to its thoughtful part orientation
Recommended material: PETG
- PETG provides excellent toughness and elasticity, ideal for tight-fitting joints
- PLA is not recommended, as it is brittle and may crack under tension or movement
This model is specially designed and optimized for 3D printing
minimizing reliance on supports in its structural orientation, allowing for no supports printing
Recommended to use PETG material for printing
- PETG has good toughness and elasticity, making it very suitable for the complex interlocking structure of this frame
- PLA is not recommended due to its high brittleness and lack of elasticity, which can easily lead to breakage during assembly or movement
Assembly
This frame uses a full snap-fit assembly—no glue is required
Follow the step-by-step sequence for best results
GIF guides will be provided here to show the correct way to install ball joints,
ensuring smooth articulation and a satisfying build experience
This frame uses a full snap-fit assembly, requiring no glue for completion
It is recommended to insert parts in step-by-step order during assembly
I will provide GIF animations on this page to demonstrate the correct way to install ball joints
to ensure you get the best assembly experience and articulation

Additional Note
In the future, I will gradually release new armor sets and weapon modules specially designed for Project V-Rebirth
All related download links will be added here once available,
allowing you to experience the full evolution of this mechanical universe
In the future, I will successively release external armor and weapon series exclusively designed for Project V-Rebirth
and corresponding download links will be updated simultaneously on this page then
so that you can fully experience the extension and evolution of this mechanical universe
- An additional printing configuration has been added the ball joints are designed to be printed with TPU material, improving both durability and smoothness of movement.f you have TPU filament available, you can try printing using this configuration for enhanced joint performance.
An additional printing configuration has been added The ball joints can be printed with TPU material to enhance wear resistance and movement fluidity If you have TPU filament available you can try using this printing configuration for superior joint performance A new Kit Card version has been added to Project V: Rebirth! This version presents the mechanical skeleton in a framed layout similar to plastic model kits allowing users to experience the fun of assembling and collecting like traditional model kits. Each part can be easily removed and assembled, making it both display-friendly and functional.
I have added a brand new Kit Card version to Project V: Rebirth! This version presents the skeleton structure in the form of an assembly model allowing players to experience the joy of disassembling and assembling like traditional models The parts are arranged in a frame making it convenient for both collection and display and can be directly assembled into an articulated frame
