The Pale King or Wyrm- Hollow Knight

The Pale King mask from Hollow Knight. I really like the Pale King mask and the lore he brings to the Hollow Knight game. While I am sure this model won't be particularly popular, it was a fun design challenge that turned out great. This mask encloses more of the head than my previous designs and comes in more parts than any other due to the long tips of the crown. The profile includes the eyes, and a wall mount in case you don't want to wear it to bed. Due to the long tips on the crown, this mask is more fragile than the others and you should be somewhat careful with it. All my mask designs are built entirely by hand with no AI assistance. Also I don't sell or authorize any others to sell my designs and only list them here on makerworld (if you find them elsewhere it isn't me).

Be cautious of walking through doors with this!

Assembly:
 

1. Remove the triangular supports from the tips of the crown on plate 1.
2. Match the crown tips from plate 1 to the triangles bits on crown 5. I numbered each of the triangles and their corresponding holes. You will find 2 of each: 1, 2, 3 and 4s. One version is mirrored. You should have a little wiggle room as you attach the tips, maybe a good idea to ensure you have it right before you glue it (you may not need to glue it)
3. The disk from plate 3 is used to connect the parts from plates 2 and 5. I would glue the disk from plate 3 to the crown from plate 5, you should be gluing it so the inner raised ring sits perfectly inside the crown of plate 5.
4. I would suggest not gluing the crown to the mask if you can avoid it. This gives you a little extra room when putting it on you head (if you have a bigger head). Some strong tape may be a better alternative on the inside of the mask.
5. The eyes on plate 6 should fit snugly within the mask. Sometimes I have to do some slight trimming and use some glue for those.
6. On plate 4 you will find a wall mount so you can put the mask on the wall if you want.

Sizing:

Generally, I think this mask looks it's best when it is big on the wearer (in the game the mask is huge compared to the size of the pale king). Because I want to avoid seams and a complex build, the mask is designed to fit the dimensions of the P1S 250mmx250mmx250mm, if you have a bigger print bed and are fitting it for an adult, you may want to scale it up to your dimensions so that it looks as big as possible relative to your body. However, the mask as is in the profile does fit my head at a 23" ball cap circumference and 27" from crown to jaw circumference, if I wear a thick winter hat and increase both of those numbers by 1.5" to 24.5" and 28.5" it still fits, but just barely (pictures shown in profile). It also fits my youngest child who is 11 and looks great on him (picture also shown).
