Lace Mask from Silksong (Hollow Knight) Halloween

Playing through Silksong during release week, it was obvious that Lace deserved a 3d printed mask design. This design is sized to fit an adult head and you could scale it down for a child. The challenge with this mask is visibility for the wearer. Lace has eyes essentially on her chin, so I had to create some alternative solutions for the wearer. 

I included 3 options for the face you can use depending on what you are after (plate names):

1. No vision face - This is the easiest design and is great if sight isn't important (hanging on a wall for example). For this design you should use the “larger hole eyes” (plate name). 
2. Hole face - This is good if you want some vision and are okay with a bunch of little holes in the face (this feels like a small audience). For this design you should use “larger hole eyes” (plat name).
3. Mesh face - This is the design I most recommend. It gives you good visibility through a cloth mesh and looks great. However, it is a bit tricky to get everything glued together so that it looks good. If you are going to wear this around for more than a few minutes, I would go with this option. This design uses the slightly smaller eyes so that they can fit in with the fabric (don't expect them to snap in with fabric).

If you look closely, you may notice I took some liberties with the design. First of all, I design my masks to fit on a human head so that forces some design decisions. Second, I optimize my prints to work on a p1s print bed and I try to keep it to a minimum number of prints. Finally, the design of Lace's head is a little dorky, so I wanted to slightly nudge that in a better direction. Consequently, the design is a little more bull head than a jester shaped balloon (sorry Team Cherry… the pants and shoulder pants are also too much). 

Will this mask fit my head? Good question, but hard to answer. It easily fits my head at a 23" ball cap circumference and 27" from crown to jaw circumference, if I wear a thick winter hat and increase both of those numbers by 1.5" to 24.5" and 28.5" it still fits easily. Unless you are known for your large head, it will probably fit. You may want to scale it down slightly based on your own measurements.
