Description
This is a custom 3D-printed throttle lever set designed for the Virpil Controls Control Panel #3.
It transforms the standard panel into an airliner-style throttle quadrant, providing a more immersive flight experience.
Lever configuration:
- Leftmost lever: Speed Brake
- Center levers: Engine 1 & 2 Throttles
- Rightmost lever: Flaps
Each lever has a unique design to match its real-world counterpart —
the throttles have wide, palm-grip handles for realistic control,
while the speed brake and flap levers feature slimmer shapes for fingertip operation.
A magnetic detent mechanism is built in to provide tactile feedback at key throttle positions such as IDLE and detent stages.
You can feel a satisfying click similar to the real aircraft throttle movement.
Assembly
- Uses the original screws from the Virpil panel.
- For the detent mechanism, prepare D6×H3 mm magnets (press-fit, no glue required).
Recommended Print Settings
- Material: PLA or PETG
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Use tree support
