This Track Saw Vacuum Clamp is part of my "Vacuum Clamping" Series - Linked Here.
Ditch the toggle clamps and start using the convienience of vacuum clamping. I have found this very helpful when it comes to quick positioning, and reliability of keeping my track stationary while cutting. Especially for the long cuts! I also no longer need any access under the board to make room for clamps, so I can have my board completely supported while cutting.
Tips for my Vac Clamps:
- I found it incredibly helpful to sacrifice one fitting and cut 3 vertical slits across the threads (see photo below). I use this for all of my clamps and allows me to chase it in first, cleaning up the thread profile like a tap. I then remove it, blow out the threads, and put in the regular fitting.
- I also have added a “Tube Plug” print profile so you can have these handy. Its nice when you want to plug off a port. It just mimics the tubing OD to fit in your quick connect fitting.

- Vacuum Pump I use: 6CFM 110V Vacuum Pump 780W Oil Less Vacuum Pump Quiet High Vacuum Piston Compressor with US Plug: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

- This is an oil-less model. I would not recommend using a cheaper HVAC vacuum pump that uses oil! I have one of these as well and I used it for awhile, until I realized how much that was burning off in my shop and making the air quality horrible to be in. Those are made to be used outside. I learned this with my air quality monitor in the shop and always questioning why the air quality was getting so bad - I later noticed the pattern of it being when I had the HVAC pump on. I would turn it off and the air quality would go back to normal after awhile, and immediately get poor again when i turned it on again.
- Long story short - save your lungs and get a proper pump!
