Description
Alrighty for everyone who knows this game and enjoys it, here is a way to elevate the gameplay.
Anyone who has tried looking for tokens for this game will probably run into the same problem I did. You'll be able to find the first 6/8 heroes tokens in the first season on Thingiverse but unfortunately, they never went back and added more. Also, they are missing a concussion/stun token good luck finding it. Enter this project, yay! I made these tokens for all of season 1 & 2 heroes. Not only are the simple tokens there, if I did this right then all of the build plates should be labeled out and the exact number of pieces for each character that uses them. Plus 2 additional build plates for the entirety of the tokens both standard and non-standard. With this as well there are 2-piece trays to replace the simple thin plastic ones provided. I use the top the bottom surface patterns because when I make these with dual color filaments, the filament is placed in such a beautiful pattern versus the regular lines it normally would. My end goal is to have each one have its own color scheme of filament and matching to that character.
Now time for the bad. Unfortunately, I did not create the trays. But I did have to modify it! The originals I want to say were made for the small boxes perhaps? I'm not sure. The original trays were literally like 2mm too long for the battle chest inserts which is what
I have and what I recommend! when I tried the original it would require pushing into place and squeezes the lid causing deformation. Lucky simple and easy fix. I just threw it on these plates for a one stop shop for everyone to print! Sorry owner of the tray design please don't sue me ♥. Other problems- some of the tokens are “nonstandard” such as the dryads and nano bots…. I did try to make them like the others where the outline was raised but none of them could really come out decent enough to tell what it was. So, I decided to just make a tray and let the cardboard sit in the plastic for it. I plan on making mine permanent so I will glue them in place, but not a must. The nanobots have a small finger sized hole in the bottom for easy flipping (I haven't played him yet, so I didn't realize he does this mechanic). Well spring and smoke did not come out the greatest and same with barbed vines. They each functionally work but they just aren't as pretty.
when i have my full set printed i will upload pictures!
I took the time out of my weekend to not only help myself because I was sick of the only have 6/8 heroes having cool tokens. I don't design for a living, this is a hobby. I'm not looking to make money here and this entire community is awesome about sharing free files. Please don't monetize this. If you have any suggestions or ideas you want me to add to this or you built something different to help it out please comment it down below!!!!
