Printing Tips
- The AquaRocket is intended TPU filament. I've tested with TPU 95a HF, but softer TPU should work too.
- Flexible PLA or PLA tough+ may work too if anyone is up to the challenge.
- Two print profiles are provided:
- Vase Mode - a single continuous a single, near 1mm, thick outer wall. Benefits are improved layer adhesion, a seam free surface and no stringing. Print speeds are calibrated to TPU 95a HF. A non high flow (or softer durometer) TPU may need slower speeds for proper extrusion. I recommend dropping to outer wall speeds to 10-15mm/s if you experience issues.
Standard Printing - Uses normal layer printing with 2 thicker walls. It's an easier print if you aren't confident you have your TPU dialed in, and achieves a near identical result with only a small print time and filament usage increase. The AquaRocket XL is only available with standard printing since it has 1.4mm thick walls.
