The MAXi Train series glides into Italy with Venice Tales, a miniature homage to the floating city’s timeless elegance and romance. This handcrafted diorama brings together some of Venice’s most iconic landmarks: the soaring Campanile, the graceful Santa Maria della Salute with its domes, and the legendary Rialto Bridge arching over shimmering canals. A central piazza with ancient stone columns anchors the scene, echoing centuries of history and tradition. Surrounding it, rows of pastel-toned buildings reflect the unique character of the city, while narrow waterways flow between them—each one alive with movement. The highlight of this piece is the series of moving gondolas, silently gliding through the canals thanks to a hidden motorized mechanism, adding rhythm and charm to the peaceful atmosphere. As with every MAXi Train creation, Venice Tales blends architecture, storytelling, and mechanical motion into a compact collectible that captures the magic of an eternal city.

This new design is based on the Mini Train Collection of BamBam Design (https://linktr.ee/bambamdesign). This model is 2.5X bigger than usual BamBam Design Mini Train Collection. You are free to adapt the scale if you want to make it compatible with other designs. In this case, be aware that some piece might be very small and also make sure to also apply the same ratio for magnets. Apply a 40% or 0.4 ratio to be compatible with BamBam Design Mini Train Collection.

Assembly:

Needed :

• 6x Round Magnet 10x5mm

Steps:

1. Insert 3pcs magnets (10x5mm) in the trains (Gondola Boat).
2. Insert 3pcs magnets (10x5mm) in the wheel’s pin. These magnets must attract the trains (Gondola Boat).
3. Add the wheel’s pin onto the wheel, fix the wheel to the base by pressing gently. Wheel’s pin must follow the designated path. You can use the trains or some spare magnets to prevent the wheel’s pin movements of the path while doing so.
4. Fix the terrain to the base by using pin holders dedicated. You can add a bit of glue to combine.
5. Fix others elements such as monuments and buildings. You can add a bit of glue to combine.
6. Turn the wheel and have fun!
