A small hard-bristle brush designed to add wood grain textures to miniatures, dioramas, or scenic elements.

If you’ve ever wondered how I recreated the wood effect on my prehistoric hammer, here’s the explanation!

Printed in PLA, it works well on cardboard, PLA, clay, or primered surfaces.

As you’ll see in the video, you can use it directly with acrylic paint: just dip the brush in the paint and apply roughly with a good amount of color. Don’t worry if it seems too much — it will spread nicely and create the right texture once dry. Alternatively, you can use it on a modeling paste surface.

Perfect for those who want to create wood grain effects quickly and easily.

🪵 Easy to print
🖌️ No supports needed
🛠️ Great for fast detailing

**TIPS: Depending on the scale of your diorama/object, you’ll obviously need to scale the size of the brush accordingly, so that the wood texture matches the proportions of the object you're applying the effect to. At the moment, the spacing between the bristles is 0.5 mm.

Give it a try and let me know how it works in your projects!
