A fully parametric version of my original business card jig for engraving. I've had requests for bigger versions in the past and some have blatantly ripped off my original, so rather than doing my version 2 I had ready to upload, I thought I would use the new Fusion Parametric model system to give everyone the flexibility.
You can create a jig for a few tags from the smallest available for 1 card, to whatever you want that fits on your build plate or in your laser
From the customize tab, there are a few options for setting the following:
- Baseplate X & Y
- Diameter of card (although most are standard)
- Depth of Card (or can leave as default as 1.5mm works for most)
- Added Zero Zero Offset - 5 to 50mm, to enable the initial cards away from the starting point for some lasers as requested, can be left as default if not affected
You do not need any math, it will then optimize the plate for the most tags or your size it can fit on the plate
In the pictures I have created the single card and 9 card version, I have uploaded a profile for the single card so people can test it quicker
Please let me know if you find any bugs, I will be working through and testing more, but feel this is now ready for release.
