Description

Our Benchy makers need a Captain. Who should it be? MICKEY MOUSE.

Now that Steamboat Willie is public domain, I thought it was time to use him in some designs.

So here it is, whistling while he works.

 

This cover goes with the Benchy Helm that I have already released on Maker World.

 

I designed this cover with 2 plates. 1 with a deck boards image, and the other without.

 

The cover is easy to use.

To put on, hang it from the top tabs and push it in at Mickey's feet to clip it in place.

To remove, grab it on the sides at the bottom, gently press in as you pull out.

 

I have only printed this in PLA and have only printed with PLA while using it. So, I don't know how it will hold up long term.

 

3 colors: Grey, Black and White.

Everything that I have printed for my A1 so far has been blue, so Steamboat Willie had to match. I did the boats steering wheel in white with a blue background. It looks amazing! My wife even noticed there was something different about the machine. One of my favourite prints so far.

Since I named my A1 mini “Minnie,” my new A1 had to be “Mickey”. That makes this the perfect cover.
