I made a mini embroidery hoop necklace. Not for my cat. He is just modelling it. With grace I might add.
This model includes a hoop made for a tiny piece of fabric, a clip to hold everything in place, a small ring to thread a chain through and a plate to close the back and make it look tidy and nice.
The clip might be a bit fidgety to place, but after the first time it will be a bit stretched and easier to remove and fasten. You can also just use pliers or something.
So if you look at the pictures:
- First cut a piece of fabric and put it on the inner hoop.
- push the outer ring to fasten it with the groove for the inner ring on the front/top side so it leaves room for the plate on the backside.
- Put the tiny ring on the clip.
- Fasten the clip.
- draw/make your design.
- fit the plate in the back.
- Thread a chain or something through(or not) and hang it on someone or something, somewhere.
