Zero Gravity Penn State Folding Drink Holder Golf

Description
This is the perfect accessory if you like to walk the course and carry your bag like I do. I got tired of setting my drink on the ground and kicking it over or forgetting about it and walking off. I solved this problem with a convenient folding drink holder that clips onto the upper rim of your golf bag and tightens in place with a heavy duty thumb turn bolt. Set your bag down, open up the cup holder, and give your drink someplace safe to sit while you crush your drive. The best part….. I mounted the cup holder onto a pivot pin so no matter what angle your bag is sitting (like on the side of a hill), your cup holder will stay level. Once you find the fairway, pick up your drink, sling your bag over your shoulder and slap the cup holder closed.
I have used this for two seasons now for my weekly league and I wish I had it years ago.
Notes on printing - I put all the parts (with a spare pin just in case) on the same build plate. I printed the hook and bolt out of PETG for a little extra strength. I haven't broken one yet.
Notes on use - If you leave this thing cooking in the trunk of your car, it's probably going to deform a little. Just take it off if you leave your clubs in your hot car all summer.
Notes on assembly - It requires two 3x8mm to 3x12mm screws, Caphead or pan head should be fine. Fit the bottom part onto the backplate and thread the screws into the hinge holes. It's pretty self-explanatory. Don't over-tighten the screws or it won't open and close easily. Push the pin through the back side of the hook and then push the backplate onto the pin.
Notes on installation - The hook will accept 2-14mm thick golf bag rims. Thread the thumb bolt into the hook all the way and then back it out before you install it onto your bag. I made the tolerance of the threads tight for a reason so it wouldn't back itself off over time or out in the sun. Actually, a drop or two of household oil on the threads before you thread it the first time will make it a lot easier. This is recommended. Once you thread it one time and the threads clean up the printing lines, it will be easy after that. When you tighten it onto your golf bag, remember that you are very strong and DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!! Just snug it up. If it moves around a little, give it another quarter turn.
