03/13/26 : Link to a new design with a case and lead holder.
This housing fits the Pentel P200 series mechanical pencils perfectly. Prints Great! No Support! PLA, ABS, ASA, with CF almost any filament.
After Printing, remove the Brim.
I hate to clean up a brim, so I designed it to be cut off. There is a crease at the bottom of the housing that can be cut cleanly with a scraper. If you use a flame to clean it up, be careful not to close up the hole. If it closes up the shiny metal eraser cap won't fit.
Assembly is very simple:
Just unscrew the tip from the original mechanical pencil. Remove the insert. Then place the insert into new printed housing. Screw the tip back on, and it should be ready to use. See picture below.
