Description

Designed this foldable stand for my 4wd and 2wd 1/10th scale carpet offroad radio control cars. The stand measures 48mm high, 135mm wide at the base of the legs, 115mm wide at the top of the platform, and 160mm deep. This should work for about any 1/10 onroad or offroad car. Trucks and such probably sit a bit too high and this stand will fall short, pun intended, for those vehicles. Folded up the dimensions are 20mm high, 120mm wide and 160mm deep. The goal was to get the foot print down so i had more room when I packed it in for the night and to keep the legs safely tucked away to prevent them from breaking.
You will need a total of 4, M3 bolts that are 25mm long. You can use a regular button head however the design was made for a countersunk screw head with a flat washer, links below.

I printed this on a Bambu Carbon effect plate. I'm not thrilled with the result as I've had adhesion issues with it. I have to bump the plate temp up and print with a brim to solve them. This caused some elephant footing and the brim doesn't always remove well. These are very minor issues and probably won't bother most folks. I will say the ones I've printed on a textured plate with no brim or my smooth PEI plate with no brim have come out perfect with almost no adjustments using Bambu PLA.

Is there a file for the turntable available? Trying to search for it but I'm unable to locate. Great idea!

Hi, it’s single sided self adhesive 10mm wide 2mm thick sealing foam tape that’s used for cookers and hobs, etc. it works great.

I printed a second one in Bambu lab blue and black for my Losi 1/12 scale NASCAR RC. Fits perfectly and the color combo works well together. I really dig the design and how slim it is for storage.

Great print, just what the 3d printed RC Car needed. Print turned out great, thank you for sharing the files. I will be adding some abrasion strips to protect the carbon look. 2nd one is printing now for my Losi Nascar.

I printed this on a P1S with SUNLU PETG Black and Transparent Green, with a bit more infill and Gyroid supports, mainly because of the Transparent Green I had no problems with the print, and everything fits together very well
