Drain Clip for Solar Panels – Keep It Efficient

This simple yet effective clip is designed to prevent standing water from collecting on the surface of your solar panels. When water pools along the bottom edge, it can cause dirt buildup, reduce efficiency, and lead to long-term degradation. This clip solves that problem by creating a small gap for water to drain off naturally.

Installation is quick and tool-free — just push it over the edge of the panel. It holds securely in place and immediately starts improving drainage performance. The result: fewer water spots, less dirt accumulation, and improved power output, especially after rain.

This design is optimized for common solar frame profiles. Currently, clips are available for 30 mm and 32 mm frame sizes — see the attached sketch for reference.
