H2D & H2S poop chute

I'm introducing my version of the external purge chute for the H2D, H2S and H2C with a box.

My Purge chute is attached to the back of the H2D, H2S and H2C with two screws, as described in the next section. Additionally, a box can be attached to the side, which is firmly attached to the chute but easy to empty.

Additionally, you have the option of printing a matching insert for the chute. This prevents two identical materials — e.g., a PLA chute and a PLA poop — from sticking together if the material cools down too slowly. Solution: PLA chute and PETG insert — depending on the use case.

The additional depth is 5 cm (1.97 in) for the chute and with box 6 cm (2.36 in).

Summary

  • External purge chute for H2D, H2S, and H2C
  • Mounted to the back of the printer with two screws
  • Optional side box, easy to remove and empty
  • Optional insert to prevent materials from sticking (e.g., PLA + PETG)
  • Depth: 5 cm (chute), 6 cm with box
  • No supports required for printing
  • No magnets or glue needed for assembly

I look forward to your first feedback, prints and pictures.

Works well together

A few models that I use in combination myself.

Magnetic Cable Management

Magnetic Cable Management

I designed this model for cable management, specifically for winding and shortening my AMS cables on the back of my Bambu Lab H2D printer, to simply tidy things up, as it had become quite messy after a while.

H2 Series 4-in-1 PTFE Holder

H2 Series 4-in-1 PTFE Holder

If you're using more than one AMS, you'll inevitably need splitters sooner or later – especially the Bambu Lab 4-in-1 PTFE splitter. Since I wasn't happy with the direct mounting on the buffer, I developed a holder for the back of the H2D and H2S, which I'd like to share with you.

Changelog

06.12.2025

I added a small box measuring 70 x 60 cm.

I also added this small box to both the overall print profile and a separate profile. Additionally, I added the standard box as a separate profile as well.

I’ve made several improvements based on user feedback – thank you all for your input!

  • Added holes on the outer wall to make it easier to mount the chute more securely.
  • Added an extra mounting hole at the lower section of the chute, since some H2S users apparently don’t have threads in the second spool holder mount. This provides a useful backup option.
  • Slightly optimized the chute design.
  • Slightly optimized the box design for improved appearance and functionality.
  • Improved the box mounting to ensure an even stronger connection to the chute.
  • Adjusted the print profile to enhance print quality.

Additionally, I’ve added an insert for the chute to prevent two identical materials from sticking together (for example: chute printed in PLA and “poop” in PLA could fuse if the material cools too slowly). Solution: Use a PLA chute with a PETG insert – depending on your use case.
