H2 Series - 4-in-1 PTFE Holder

If you're using more than one AMS, you'll inevitably need splitters sooner or later – especially the Bambu Lab 4-in-1 PTFE splitter. Since I wasn't happy with the direct mounting on the buffer, I developed a holder for the back of the H2D and H2S, which I'd like to share with you.

What you need:

  • 2x BT3 x 10
  • 2x M3 x 8 (Optional, but recommended)

Assembly

Installation is quite simple; the picture clearly shows the screws I used. You can use the existing screws, but I recommend using M3 x 8 screws to attach the adapter / base plate.

You'll need self-tapping BT3 x 10 screws to install the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter.

I've added the appropriate screws to the Bambu Store under "Materials."

After installation, you can use the cover for a clean, tidy appearance.

I personally use the 4-in-1 PTFE holder with two 4-in-1 PTFE splitters in combination with two AMS 2 Pro and one AMS HT.

Testing

I'm currently experimenting with the PTFE tubing, specifically the length, to minimize friction when loading filament. In my case, the AMS 2 Pro are located in drawers under the H2D, which means a fairly long distance to the extruder, and my H2D sometimes displays a "too much resistance" message. I will share my experiences with this in the future.

Initial long-term experience

I cannot recommend PLA, as it may soften at high temperatures in the printer at this location.

PTFE tube length: The most important thing here is to keep it as short as possible and with as little friction as possible (not too many bends and no sharp bends).

I will update this as I gain further insights.

I look forward to your feedback and pictures, and possibly some tips regarding long PTFE hoses and avoiding too much friction.

Magnetic Cable Management

Magnetic Cable Management

I designed this model for cable management, specifically for winding and shortening my AMS cables on the back of my Bambu Lab H2D printer, to simply tidy things up, as it had become quite messy after a while.

H2 Series poop chute

The H2D, H2S and H2C poop chute is perfect for the targeted disposal of poop into a separate box, which is removable and available in different sizes.
