Description

This is a small clamp with extremely strong clamping force. Based on my previous clamp design, this version has been further improved with redesigned jaws. It features self-aligning jaws that allow the clamping surfaces to stay tightly in contact with the object, providing a more stable clamping effect and a wider clamping range. Additionally, it offers 5 different jaw shapes to suit various usage scenarios. It still incorporates a vice-like lever mechanism, combined with screws and nuts to adjust the opening and provide clamping force. Compared to other 3D printed clamps, its clamping force is exceptional and will not degrade due to material deformation. The maximum clamping force depends on the material's tensile strength.

The clamp is very lightweight, requiring only 16g of filament, and takes about 1 hour to print. It does not need supports, making it easy to print.

It consists of 5 components and is easy to assemble for use.

Fully 3D printed, no additional materials are required.

Both PLA and PETG materials can be used for printing, but PETG is more recommended as it has better toughness and is less likely to suffer permanent deformation.

Please refer to the exploded diagram for assembly.
