Description
V2 of the spring maker, this design is modular, by printing more coils it is possible to lock them together and make very long springs for rifles or other uses.
It is also possible to use only the coils and the nut and lock the coils in a drill to power-wind the springs.

To make the coils more solid i designed an inner 2mm hole in which a steel wire can be threaded to make the structure more solid. Even without additional wire the inner walls (due to the hole) will add more rigidity to the coil.
How to use:
1: assemble the device
2: screw the nut to the end until it touches the base
3: feed the wire through the nut (the moving part) holes
4: lock the wire into the base passing from the holde, inside-out
5: lock the wire now on the second post, bending it from outside-in
6: turn the nut, feeding the wire and making sure it is tight
7: once you get to the right length, cut
8: unscrew the nut then unspool the coil.
