Description

We started a painting project and I wanted to cover the old surround sound speaker locations. I made this simple magnetic cover so there are no screws showing. Simply glue in your 6mm magnets , screw the base plate to the wall, and attached your cover plate. I chose to paint the cover plate but that is not required.

If you need a model with a different magnet size let me know. I am happy to upload for you.

I don't know anything about electricity but I assume these are not up to code for use around electrical applications. I used to cover a unused box that has speaker wire only. Use at your own risk, etc etc.

only need the front cover and it printed great. had an odd wall opening and used poster putty to attach. worked perfectly.

This worked great, I replaced about 13 blank covers with these magnetic covers and it blends in nicely after painting (PLA takes paint quite well for me). I used 6x2mm magnets which were a perfect fit. I used a little glue but I think it's unnecessary as they were a pretty tight friction fit for me.
