Description
Remix for 400mm sized V-Core 4. Beefed Up Hinges. M6 Mounting to Main Frame.
Print Instructions
Print the Lower and Upper Hinge with 0% Infill and as much walls as needed till the part is 100% solid.
Use a filament with good layer adhesion, there is quite some force on these hinges.
Recommended is ABS(-CF/GF) / PC(-CF)
For the Remaining Parts use Top/Bottom/Walls 4/4/4 40% Infill
Preparation+Assembly
Drill out the Holes for the split bushings
Use a Vice or press to insert the bushings and pins into the parts.
Keep parts as straight as possible, otherwise the printed parts will crack.
Pins should stick out approx. 20mm when fully seated.
Refer also to the Assembly instructions on GitHub for the remaining parts.
This Build uses Blind Joint Assembly for the Main Frame of the Door. There are plenty of Tutorials available for this.
To attache the hinges and latch to the panels just drill holes Straight thru the panels. No cutouts needed.
