About the Model
I created these play-doh stamps to help kids learn US geography in a more hands-on way. This is great for children (or adults!) to get to play and learn at the same time in a very physical way to help reinforce learning US geography. I've made a stamp for each state as well as a dough roller to make it easy to flatten out the play doh. I had to combine a few of the smaller northeastern states together as they were just too small to make each one on it's own stamp. I was able to make the states in the picture with about 2 full cups of standard sized play doh, I used 4 colors to give it more variety. I thought this would be a great addition to any teacher's classroom as a fun activity kids can do together.
These stamp outline models are high resolution so you can scale them up (or down) if you want to get different sizes. The scale on my print profiles creates a united states map that is roughly 14 inches long.
Hope you enjoy! I would love to see pictures of other people's creations!
